Grandparent visit!
Hello readers!
My grandparents from my moms side came for a month for my summer! They are still here right now and are going to stay for about two more weeks. I have had so much fun with them so far, My grandpa still can’t believe he is here! Right now they are staying in the Ruchti Hotel ( basically my moms room). We have visited a lot of the area so far, they still don’t really want to walk anywhere though. Through the next few paragraphs, I will be telling you what we have done through the past 2 weeks.
We went to the Twin Towers! This was such a fun trip! We went inside the mall that was inside the towers, we also discovered a new Ice-cream place called “Inside Scoop.” My grandpa thought this was an amazing place to get Vanilla, for all the fans of that flavor. Afterwards, we went out to the park area and I played in this splash zone, which got me soaked almost from head to toe. Sadly, we did not go walk the bridge that connects the two towers.
We. Had. To. Go. To. The. Hospital. (FYI, Grandpa is A-ok, his shoulder just hurts.) Soooo, basically when my grandparents first got here they were in a different hotel, and my grandpa fell because he could not see an edge. Except, he said he was fine. Yet, we still took him to the hospital a couple of times( basically like a check up), and we were all preparing for surgery of course, but he didn’t need it! YAY! It still bothers him though.
We went to Penang! So long story short, my grandparents booked a hotel right next to the beach in Penang! The hotel is called: ShangriLa Golden sands. They got a a suite for themselves, yet it was so big I called it “ A suite Deluxe!” We didn’t really go to the beach, but we went to the pool(s)!! Let me tell you, they were absolutely amazing! They had one that was only for adults, sadly.( It looked really fun.) There were, water slides, a bucket that drops water on you, etc. We also explored George Town, and little India! My Grandparents got to ride something called a trigshaw, which basically takes you around Penang to show all the awesome street art! We also went to a cat shop where I got a glow-in-the-dark nightgown and a door handle that says “Nobody is perfect. But me.”
I am having so much fun and I am hoping that you have a wonderful day!
Sincerely,
Wynter💞
